Master current HUD HCV Homeownership guidelines! You will learn how to implement and manage a successful HCV Homeownership program in your area, to accurately determine family eligibility, to apply verification requirements, as well as to work through hands on case studies to help you accurately determine assistance calculations.
We will also discuss how to improve your programs by integrating with Family Self-Sufficiency and other homeownership initiatives. Additionally, you will identify how to develop partnerships and examine best practices for programs, partnerships, lender requirements, counseling, and policies. Participants will also review how to avoid the pitfalls of poor implementation and the loss of valuable resources.
The training will also cover HCV Homeownership requirements and assistance for specific populations such as elderly individuals and people with disabilities.
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
Effectively implement a HCV Homeownership Program
Accurately verify income and expenses, determine eligibility, and calculate assistance
Explore best practices to integrate your FSS and and procedures
